WSIB chiropractorWhat is the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, or WSIB for short? It’s an independent agency in under the Ministry of Labour that basically provides two things: 1) workers’ compensation for employees and 2) no-fault insurance for employers in Ontario.

So what does being a WSIB chiropractor mean to us? It’s just another way of helping you! If a measure toward safety at your employment were not to prevent an injurious accident, we want to make sure you are covered. We want to do everything we can to assist you with receiving the care you need after an injury. We are proud to be a WSIB chiropractor because it allows us to assist with your recovery and for you to receive the workers’ compensation benefits that you need, as well.

Chiropractic care may be used to treat various injuries related to the spine and joints; these include neck injuries, shoulder injuries, hip or knee injuries, and ankle or wrist injuries. Chiropractic care for your work-related injuries, provided by us as your WSIB chiropractor, may be an important step toward your recovery from your injuries. Tolerating a painful injury now can lead to chronic inflammation, other issues that may become more long-term, or even years of chronic pain.

At Mapleview Chiropractic Centre, our goal is to get you back out on the job, fully recovered from the work-related injuries you have suffered. We want to make sure the years to come in your career are happy, full, and pain-free. If you do suffer a work-related injury, don’t forget that we are anxious to help you heal well and receive the WSIB benefits you deserve along your road to recovery.
