It is not always obvious if the discomfort you experience requires a little R&R or some TLC in the form of a chiropractic adjustment. At Mapleview Chiropractic Centre, we often hear from patients who wait days, weeks, or even months minimizing the severity of their symptoms and suffering in silence.

If you experience any of these symptoms, consider a chiropractic adjustment for immediate relief.

Chiropractic Adjustment

1.   Chronic Headaches- Most headaches come and go without cause for worry, but if you’re experiencing chronic headaches or migraines, muscle tension could be the culprit. People often hold a lot of tension in their neck and shoulders, as a result of poor posture, unsupportive seating, or a sedentary lifestyle. Muscle tension in the neck can lead to headaches and migraines that can become debilitating over time if left untreated. A chiropractic adjustment can alleviate the tension through spinal manipulation, which can remove pressure from your spine and reduce headache pain.

2.   Lethargy- Our energy fluctuates on an hourly basis and is dependent largely on amount of sleep, stress, and blood sugar levels — and sometimes it depends solely on coffee! But if you’re feeling low energy more often than not, it could be a sign of a misalignment in your spine, which could be wreaking havoc with your internal signals and energy levels. A quick adjustment could put the pep back in your step!

3.    Pain- If you experience head, neck, or back pain that doesn’t quit, don’t wait to visit a chiropractor. Misalignment of the spine can result in excess pain and discomfort, which can quickly become debilitating. The worst thing you can do when you experience pain is self-medicate with a Tylenol and hope for the best. A chiropractic adjustment can bring you back to balance and reduce your pain substantially, if not eliminate it completely.
